Anambra State Government and Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) have agreed to work more closely to improve education across the state.
The commitment was made when the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ekene Longinus Ogugua, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of UNIZIK, Prof. Bond Stanley Anyaehie, in Awka.
Prof. Anyaehie praised Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s efforts in the education sector and called for stronger collaboration with the university, especially in supporting its Demonstration Primary and Secondary Schools.
In his response, Dr. Ogugua said the Ministry of Education is ready to partner with universities and other stakeholders to improve teaching, learning, policy implementation, and the overall quality of education in Anambra State.
The visit is part of the Soludo administration’s ongoing efforts to build partnerships that will strengthen the education sector and provide better opportunities for learners across the state.
