Commissioner For Education Calls For Strong Partnership ln Development of State Education Sector

The Commissioner for Education, Prof.Ngozi Chuma Udeh has called on Philanthropists in the state to forge strong partnership with government for the development of education sector.

Madam Commissioner, Prof Ngozi Udeh made the call at the first education seminar and third phase of the scholarship award ceremony of I G Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation held at Prof.Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Agu -Awka.
Speaking at the event, Prof Ngozi Chuma Udeh, called on illustrious indigents of communities to emulate Ozo Ignatius Onyeka Aguowo, whose foundation is sponsoring the education of over 250 students in more than 10 states in Nigeria.

She further called on resourceful stakeholders to join hands with the government to resuscitate community schools in Anambra state, a venture she said l G Academic foundation has embarked on with the renovation of a Classroom block and old Principal Quarters at Ezike High School, Nibo.

In his address, Chief Ignatius Onyeka Aguowo said the foundation is geared towards helping the young and less privileged people in society. He further urged parents of the beneficiaries to ensure that the efforts of the foundation are well utilized by ensuring their children pay attention to their studies.

The highlight of the occasion was the appreciation of the best three beneficiaries in the 2021/2022 academic session and the presentation of scholarship award certificates to successful applicants.
