Anambra Commissioner for Education assumes duty, frowns at lateness to work

The State Commissioner of Education , Professor Ngozi Therese Chuma -Udeh assumes duty and calls on staff to be punctual to work.
Prof.Ngozi Chuma-Udeh made this known while on a familiarisation tour of the various departments of the ministry at Udorji Secretariate Complex ,Awka.
The Commissioner, who was taken round the various departments by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Barr.Mrs Nwando Obiano, stated that her administration will not condone lateness to work and charged all to be on their duty post on time.

She also enjoined staff to desist from every form of palm greasing as regards discharging their duty.
Earlier,the Commissioner met with key officers of the ministry to marshall out modalities that will drive the education family forward.
Professor Ngozi Theresa Chuma-Udeh is a Professor of Comparative Literature from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
Prior to her appointment as the Commissioner of Education,she was Dean of Arts, and a former Head,Department of English Anambra State Unversity.
She is also Fictional Editor, Sentinel Literary Quarterly,United Kingdom.

She has to her honour received awards and recognition for her stride in the literary world and passion for the girl child.
